Last day of May

This spring has certainly been much different than last year.  Although we have had our fair share of rain, and even some locally heavy downpours, we haven't had the flooding and damage we had last year.  I say that with a hopeful watch on the forecast for tomorrow which will bring potentially severe thunderstorms and heavy rains to our area.  As we head into June, we look forward to summer vacation season, travel, picnics, fireworks, parades, carnivals, and all the fun getting together with friends and family.  Please be careful in all your activities and travel.  Be aware of tourists and keep in mind they may not be aware of local traffic patterns, one way streets, traffic circles, etc.  Take a little extra time and caution to be aware of your surroundings, it may save an accident or something tragic from happening.  Be aware of increased walkers, runners, cyclists, and children at play now that the nicer weather is here and schools are letting out for the summer.

Looking for an active event in the Gettysburg area, check at the Spirit of Gettysburg race sponsored by the YWCA.  The event will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 and has something for everyone from a 5K race to a children's fun run.  The event is sure to be fun for the whole family.

Travelling for the summer and have rental car questions, give us a call or check out our website www.crsinsurance.com

Have a great day!
